The Bachelor of Education program, generally Known as B.Ed., is a professional course that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII), secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels.

The B.Ed program shall be of duration of two academic years which can be completed in a maximum of three years from the date of admission to the program. The Affiliating body for the B.Ed program shall be Punjabi University Patiala /NCTE

Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed. Programmes
Candidates with at least 50% marks either at Graduation /Post Graduation in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent there to ,are eligible for admission to B.Ed program

Admission to B.Ed.
Admission to B.Ed. course is made purely on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and /or in the entrance test /Online Counseling or any other selection process of the State Govt./ Federation of Self Financed Colleges of Education Punjab. Whichever is applicable.

Management Quota Seats
Admission to 15% Management Quota Seats in B.ED and ETT shall be filled up by the College Management on the basis of merit in Qualifying examination or any other screening process as decided from time to time by the College Management.

NOTE: The reservation and relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central State government.
